Q. What is the biggest oven Ted's fabrication currently makes?
A. we currently make ovens up to 4x4x6
Q. I see that you make electric ovens, would you consider building gas fired ovens?
A. We feel that electric ovens work the best and offer less problems than a gas fired oven, we currently do not offer any upgrades to gas ovens
Q. Are all of your ovens single phase 220v-240v? I have 3 phase in my shop.
A. yes all of our ovens are single phase 220v-240v, the heating system is 220-240v while the controls are 120v. While we have been asked to make our ovens in 3 phase, we feel that there is not enough interest in stocking products for 3 phase applications.
Q. I need an oven a little bit different than what you have listed, can you accommodate a size oven that is smaller than your biggest oven ?
A. We can fabricate most ovens up to 4x6x8, however unique ovens must be custom quoted. but please do not hesitate to ask for a quote
Q. Do you currently have any ovens in stock?
A. We do not stock any ovens, we operate on a first come, first serve basis with an average lead time of 4 weeks. We suggest to place an order with your minimum 500.00 down payment. When we receive your down payment we can usually change an order within 2 weeks of it being placed, so even if your unsure of what extras you may want at least you will be on our build list.
Q. I placed an order and have sent in my deposit. I decided to not go through with the order because of financial problems, can I receive a refund on my deposit?
A. We can give you a refund, however it will only be half of your 500.00 deposit this is if you are ordering our ovens as listed. However, if we quote a custom job you will not receive a refund simply because this is a custom job.

Q. What forms of payment do you take?
A. We currently take checks, certified funds , money orders , visa , mastercard, discover If paying by check the check must clear before we release the freight for shipping. If you pick your job up here at our shop either pre pay, or you must pay cash here.

Q. How are the ovens crated for shipping?
A. Custom pallets are created for all ovens that are shipped. The oven is laid on its side for shipping this way it is not that tall where a dock handler will hit the top of the unit. Once we lay the unit down we use a heavy shrink wrapping to protect it from the elements and also secure it to the pallet. If you feel this is not enough protection we can make a fully enclosed skid for the time and material to build it.
Q. Do I pay Ted's Fabrication directly for shipping costs?
A. No, you will not pay us direct. We can get a rough price quote via our freight accounts or through a brokerage company, when we ship we either send freight collect or have the customer set up shipping through the brokerage company. We will work with you on getting the best rate.
Q. I would like to set up my own freight arrangements?
A. You are more than welcome to setup your own arrangements, however you must use the pickup date we give you, do not tell a freight company to come here on a date not given by us, we will reject them and they may charge you.

Q. Can I pick up my oven in person?
A. Yes, you can when picking up your order please make sure you bring straps, and tarps if the weather is supposed to be bad
Q. Can I pick up my order on the weekend?
A. You can pick up on certain weekends, however do to our other involvements we are typically not here on weekends
Q. Can I pick my order up after hours?
A. We can no longer let anyone pickup their orders after 5pm
Q. Why do you not list a phone number on your website?
A. We currently do not list numbers because of the high volume of request we currently receive, however if you send us an email with your phone number and a request to call you we will during normal business hours. We also will email you back usually within an hour during business hours. All customers that place an order with us will be given Ted's cell number so he can be reached any time of the week.
